The dark wood against the black metal frame looks way more expensive than what I paid, and the four shelves are rock solid—I've loaded mine with heavy hardcovers and there's zero wobble. It's actually become the focal point of my living room, and guests keep asking where I got it.
The assembly took me an evening, but once it was up, the contrast between the dark wood and the black metal frame really anchors my reading corner. Those four shelves are plenty deep for my hardcovers, and the whole thing feels solid enough to hold my heaviest tomes without any wobble.
The dark wood and black metal combo looks exactly like the industrial style I was going for, and the four shelves are plenty for my overflowing collection. Assembly took a bit longer than I’d hoped, but the sturdiness makes up for it.
