The swivel is so smooth I keep spinning back and forth while chatting at the island, and the faux leather feels more premium than I expected for the price. Assembly took maybe twenty minutes and the seat height fits our counter perfectly.
The 360-degree swivel is the reason I picked this stool, and it works smoothly enough that I can turn to chat with someone across the room without shifting the whole chair. Assembly took a bit of patience, but once it was up, the upholstered seat felt sturdy and comfortable for a casual dinner.
The faux leather looks nice from across the room, but up close it’s a bit stiff and not as plush as the photos suggest. The 360-degree spin works fine for casual use, though the seat could use more padding if you’re planning to sit for a long dinner.
