The swivel action is so smooth that I keep spinning on mine while waiting for coffee to brew, and the cushioned seat holds up nicely through long dinners. The contoured back actually supports me better than my old wooden chairs ever did.

I was worried barstools would feel flimsy, but the contoured back and cushioned seat make these surprisingly solid and comfy for long dinners. The 360-degree swivel is so smooth, I catch myself spinning a little between bites.

The cushioned seat is firmer than I expected, which honestly works better for long conversations at the kitchen island. Swivel returns to center neatly without any wobble. Only wish the contoured back had a bit more lumbar support, but it's a solid set for the price.
