Got this for our kitchen island and the tapered legs really anchor it nicely, plus the upholstered seat is comfy enough for long meals with the kids. Assembly took maybe twenty minutes and it feels solid, not wobbly at all when we scootch over.
We use this bench every single night for dinner now, and the upholstered seat is way more comfortable than I expected for a dining piece. The counter height makes it feel a bit more formal, but it’s still really easy to slide in and out of. Sturdy enough that my kid can climb on it without wobbling.
The tapered legs look nice and the bench feels solid enough, but the counter height is a bit taller than I expected for my table setup. It does the job for extra seating, though I wish the upholstery had a bit more cushion for longer meals.
