The contoured seat is a nice touch—it actually feels solid and supportive even after sitting for a couple of hours. The butcher-block top gives it that rugged farmhouse look without being too rustic.
The swivel motion is smooth and quiet, which makes it easy to turn and chat without that annoying squeak. I do wish the seat had a bit more padding on the underside, but the contoured butcher-block top looks great and holds up well for daily use.
The butcher-block seat is sturdier than I expected, and the swivel glides smoothly without any wobble. Only gripe is the finish shows fingerprints pretty quickly, but it’s a solid stool for the price.
